Terms & Conditions – Solmare Beachfront Apartments

These Terms & Conditions apply to reservations, stays and use of the website of Solmare Beachfront Apartments, located in Panormo, Rethymno, Crete, Greece.

By making a reservation through our website, contacting us with a booking request or staying at the property, you agree to the terms below.

1. Reservations

Reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only after the booking process has been completed and confirmation has been issued.

When making a reservation, guests are responsible for providing accurate contact details, guest information, arrival details and any special requests.

Special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed by Solmare Beachfront Apartments in writing.

2. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is available from 14:00 to 23:30.

Guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance of their expected arrival time.

Check-out is available until 12:00.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

3. Prices, Taxes and Fees

Prices are displayed in euros (€) and apply per room or apartment, according to the selected dates, accommodation type, rate plan and number of guests.

VAT, where applicable, is included in the displayed accommodation price.

A local accommodation or municipal fee may apply per room, per night and is shown separately during the booking process where applicable.

Any additional services, special arrangements or extra charges will be communicated clearly before confirmation whenever possible.

4. Payment

Payment terms depend on the selected rate plan and booking method.

Some reservations may require online payment, prepayment, deposit or full payment before arrival. Other reservations may be handled manually or paid according to the instructions provided during the booking process.

Where online payments are available, payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. Solmare Beachfront Apartments does not store full card details on this website.

5. Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation and modification terms depend on the selected rate plan.

Flexible rates may allow cancellation or changes within the permitted cancellation window shown during the booking process.

Non-refundable rates, where available, may be charged in full and may not be cancelled, changed or refunded.

In case of no-show, late cancellation or early departure, charges may apply according to the selected cancellation policy.

Guests should review the cancellation policy carefully before completing a reservation.

6. Children and Beds

Children of all ages are welcome.

The availability of baby cots or cribs depends on the selected accommodation type and must be requested in advance.

Extra beds are not available unless specifically confirmed by the property.

All baby cots or cribs are subject to availability.

7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to respect the property, furniture, equipment, other guests, neighbors and local quiet hours.

Guests are responsible for any damage, loss or excessive cleaning required as a result of misuse, negligence or violation of these terms.

The number of guests staying in the apartment must not exceed the confirmed occupancy stated in the reservation.

Parties, events or unauthorized gatherings are not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing.

8. Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Exceptions are not guaranteed and must be confirmed in writing before arrival, where applicable.

9. Smoking

Smoking may be restricted inside the apartments. Guests must follow the property’s instructions regarding smoking areas.

Any damage, odor removal or extra cleaning caused by smoking where not permitted may result in additional charges.

10. Access, Location and Parking

The property is located in Panormo, Rethymno, Crete.

Guests are responsible for arranging their arrival and transportation unless a transfer or assistance has been separately agreed.

Public parking or nearby parking may be available, but availability cannot always be guaranteed unless specifically confirmed.

11. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information, prices, availability, descriptions and photos accurate and up to date.

However, minor differences may exist due to updates, renovations, seasonal changes or third-party service limitations.

If an obvious error appears in pricing, availability or booking information, Solmare Beachfront Apartments reserves the right to correct the error and contact the guest with the correct information.

12. Limitation of Liability

Solmare Beachfront Apartments is not responsible for events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, travel disruption, utility interruptions, public authority restrictions, force majeure events or third-party service failures.

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.

13. Personal Data

Personal data submitted through the website or during the reservation process is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

By completing a reservation or submitting a booking request, guests acknowledge that their data may be processed for reservation management, guest communication, legal obligations and service improvement.

14. Third-Party Services

The website may use third-party tools, booking systems, payment providers, maps, analytics tools, review widgets or other integrations.

Solmare Beachfront Apartments is not responsible for the terms, technical availability or data practices of third-party services.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Greece.

Any dispute shall be handled according to the applicable legal framework and competent authorities in Greece.
